Ajeweller in Hyderabad has bagged the Guinness World Record for creating a ring with the most number of diamonds.
Kotti Srikanth, from The Diamond Store by Chandubhai in Hyderabad, curated a ring which he named ‘The Divine — 7801 Brahma Vajra Kamalam’. According to a report by Economic Times, the ring contains 7801 natural diamonds and that got him the world record.

An Indian jeweller has set the Guinness World Record title for designing a ring with the most number of diamonds. In an outstanding feat, Kotti Srikanth designed a sparkling ring, named "The Divine — 7801 Brahma Vajra Kamalam," using as many as 7,801 natural diamonds.
The unique ring was unveiled earlier this week at the Diamond Store by Chandubhai in Hyderabad, which is owned by Srikanth. Notably, the new record also marks the first Guinness World Record in the field of jewellery from South India.

A total of 7,801 natural diamonds have been used in curating the ring named ‘The Divine – 7801 Brahma Vajra Kamalam’ that was unveiled today at their store. Goes without saying, a ring that holds a world record wouldn’t have been easy to make; this celestial ring that holds thousands of glittering diamonds was underway since September 2018, and it took around 11 long and painstaking months to complete- the result of which is the coveted title of a world record and a ring one can’t take their eyes off. The multi-layered ring has a total of six layers. Five layers hold eighth pave set petals, and the final layer has six petals with three pollens right in the center. Conflict-free natural diamonds have been used in this dazzling floral creation awarded the “Most Diamonds Set in One Ring.”

According to the information received, a jeweller from Hyderabad made a ring using 7,801 diamonds and got his name registered in the Guinness World Record. This ring has been made by Koti Srikanth of Chandubhai Diamond Store (a unit of The Hallmark Jewelers). You can see its shape is like Brahma Kamalam, a rare flower found in the Himalayas. For this reason, this ring has been named 'The Divine-7801 Brahma Vajra Kamalam'.
